To the Pacific.

Victoria at night. Parliament buildings.

Before leaving Victoria we decided to have a quick look at Fisherman's Wharf. We are so glad we did as it was lovely wandering around looking at the house boats.

As we strolled along one of the quay sides a couple of seals popped up inquisitively.

A float plane leaving Victoria Harbour.

We set off on a 5 hour journey to our next destination. I disliked the first couple of hours as it was so busy and it felt like we hit a constant stream of traffic lights. After a while we turned west and headed across Vancouver Island. The road become much more windy but the scenery improved.

We arrived at Tofino with the sun shining. This is the view from our balcony and bedroom. I was very pleased as I had been looking forward to staying in Tofino and this B & B was probably the first one I booked for the Canadian trip. Hazel was very impressed. All being well we are going to spend a few hours tomorrow on the little beach (Dove Cove) below the B & B.
