Sadly we had to leave Jasper and Juniper House. We had enjoyed staying here and our host Jen had provided us with loads of local information helping us make the most of our time.
We went to church, not actually in just for a look!
Had a quick look at Pyramid Lake one of many lakes around Jasper.
We took a short hike up to Angel Glacier on Mount Edith Carvell.
The glacier does not look very big but it is! A piece broke off while we where there creating a small avalanche and a noise like thunder.
The friendly locals are now getting far to friendly.
Little & large.
Mount Robson the highest mountain in the Canadian Rockies and an impressive sight.
Looking for Salmon trying to travel up the Rearguard Falls the highest point they can navigate, 800 miles from the sea. I spotted 2 salmon but Hazel missed both!
Hazel was asking serious questions about where we where staying for the next couple of nights. I must say I was becoming concerned. Rachel and Jon I expect you had similar thoughts.
All ended well and we had a fantastic meal and lovely night with the other quests.
