At last a picture of a train in Banff station. This was waiting while a train came the other way that I recorded. If anyone is interested in watching the video let me know. A word of warning, the trains can be 2 miles long!

Hazel was reluctant to leave the car thinking I was going to make her hike again.
This was at Bow Lake on the Icefields Parkway. The Icefields Parkway is described as one of the top 20 most scenic drives in the world.

Hiking up Parker Ridge, a ridge 2250 meters (7380 foot) high.
Hazel still looking for bears! A lot more chance of seeing one round here.
Studying the Saskatchewan Glacier part of the Columbia Icefields. To give an idea of size, the tongue of ice you can see is 9km (5.6 miles) long.
